We currently have a vacancy for a C++ Embedded Systems Engineer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Italy. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Create new systems based on the latest design of commercial-on-Modules;
• Development of distributed system components (executing nodes) and their communication/interaction to support nuclear inspector tasks such as Containment & Surveillance and Verification;
• Implementation of the user requirements, testing, documentation and integration with other systems.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 9 years;
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience with C++ development;
• Hands‑on experience working with hardware and multi‑process software;
• Experience with CMake/Embedded Linux/Git/Qt/Optical sensors is considered an advantage;
• Excellent command of the English language.
