QVC Group in Brugherio, Lombardy, Italy, is seeking a Buyer to source, purchase and merchandise a product range. This full-time maternity cover role requires onsite presence several days per month and a strong focus on negotiation and supplier relations.

You will work under the Home Buying Manager to grow the product range and optimize profitability. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years as a home retail buyer, a degree in Economics, and advanced Excel skills, with fluency in English and Italian.

Your Opportunity, Your Team

• The Buyer supports QVC Italy and will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing and merchandising a specific product range in a timely and efficient manner, in order to maximize the company’s net profit contribution.

Where You'll Work

• This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite in Brugherio (MB) several days per month; onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company.
• This is a full-time temporary contract - maternity cover.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Home Buying Manager, you will:

• Source, select, and secure a suitable range of products for QVC that fits the target market.
• Negotiate the best possible prices and conditions.
• Work closely with the Planning team to review product performance, and to plan and grow the product range.
• Monitor inventory levels, taking accountability for the return-to-supplier process.
• Meet regularly with suppliers to review product performance.

What You'll Bring

• At least 2–3 years of experience as a home retail buyer.
• A degree in Economics or equivalent; excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel; expertise in “home textiles” is highly appreciated.
• Strong negotiation and sourcing skills.
• A proactive mindset, strong personal accountability and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate successfully across teams.
• Fluency in English and Italian.

Salary: 31 200,00 € - 39 000,00 €
