Business Process Improvement Specialist – Gi Group Holding

Gi Group Holding – a leading Italian multinational company in temporary and permanent staffing, professional services, and consulting. We are seeking a Business Process Improvement Specialist to join our Gi BPO team.

Role Overview

In this role you will manage the operational standardisation and continuous improvement programme for our clients. You will analyse current operations, develop and implement innovative operational standards based on Lean principles, and lead cross‑functional teams to deliver measurable performance gains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead quarterly continuous improvement initiatives across sites or business units, removing performance bottlenecks, fostering a safety culture, and guiding teams toward operational excellence.
  • Provide coaching and support to work‑team members to tackle productivity, quality and delivery challenges using Lean Six Sigma problem‑solving methodologies.
  • Ensure integration between projects and processes, coordinating improvements to meet defined project objectives and standardise operations across the organisation.
  • Plan and manage the operating cycle budget, analysing time, cost and process performance to optimise productivity and labour requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve financial targets through Lean Six Sigma techniques.
  • Develop monitoring dashboards and KPI reports in partnership with the Performance Management team.
  • Assess the economic impact of processes and projects (Capex/Opex) and work with the Technical Director to shape the company budget in line with production objectives.
Requirements
  • Preferable degree in managerial/industrial engineering or mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in continuous‑improvement roles focused on time and method optimisation.
  • Solid knowledge of Lean Management, Lean manufacturing (TPS, WCM), and basic project management principles.
  • Experience designing and implementing operational standards, developing strategic plans for sites or warehouses.
  • Proficiency in creating process performance indicators and process maps.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships across all business levels and to lead inter‑functional teams without direct supervision.
  • IT skills: Microsoft Office, Minitab, Oracle, SAP, Power BI, Google Workspace.
  • Lean tools knowledge: 5S, A3, PDCA, Kaizen. Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel on site across Italy.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and decision‑making skills, analytical thinking, problem‑solving, flexibility, and resilience under pressure.
