They are a revolutionary company that provides the safest technology and most efficient and environmentally friendly method for cleaning virtually any surface, including electrical generators, engines, mechanical equipment, bridges, ships, tanks, buildings, walls and ceilings. They have three decades of experience working in numerous industries and a plethora of applications. Due to recent growth, they are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager in Italy to continue to expand their business in the Mediterranean region.

Job Summary

In this position, you will be in charge of the development and maintenance of new business opportunities within Combined Cycle Power Plants around Italy. This is a remote position with frequent local trips to customers around the region. Experience in the Power Energy field is highly preferred.

General Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute regional-level sales strategy
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities (Hunter Disposition)
  • Manage proposals, pricing, and negotiations
  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Conduct market research and provide feedback
  • Coordinate with operations for project delivery
  • Represent PIC at meetings, site visits, and trade shows
  • Target and execute on purchase orders valued at approx. $200k/$300k
Requirements
  • 5+ years in B2B sales or business development within Combined Cycle Power Plants
  • Experience may come from Steel Mills, Refineries, Petrochemical Plants, Pulp & Paper Mills, Food & Beverage Processing, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Data Centers, Waste-to-Energy Plants, Chemical Manufacturing
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field
  • Experience with CRM systems and consultative selling
Critical Traits & Competencies
  • Value Selling Mindset and Strategy (Must be able to articulate examples)
  • Experience within Combined Cycle Power Plants. Tenure and track-record of selling within the space. Exhibits the ability and willingness to leverage network
  • Experience of delivery and engaging with clients in a long sales cycle. Must have the disposition and emotional intelligence to navigate this piece.
  • Strong interpersonal and coordination skills. Must exhibit the ability to achieve Face-to-Face meetings with new & existing client base
  • Professionalism and integrity. Remote working environment so ability to work autonomously is key.
