About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager based in Napoli. This is a rare opportunity to become a founding and important member of a growing, well‑funded company. You will collaborate with Italy's most premium and regarded restaurants. As a member of the regional sales team, you will report to the Sales Lead and focus on developing new relationships with restaurants and stores. This position is offered as a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants across your region in an organised fashion, becoming an area‑level expert on upcoming restaurants and those most coveted by customers.
  • Support partners in joining Deliveroo, ensuring the best experience for them.
  • Communicate with restaurants through physical visits, email, calls, or social media to demonstrate Deliveroo technology.
  • Help restaurant owners/managers overcome barriers or hesitations.
  • Attend restaurant and food meet‑ups.
Requirements
  • Comfortable targeting new business and have sales experience.
  • Confidence or experience dealing with partners/customers face‑to‑face, by phone or e‑mail.
  • Experience in demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients.
  • Comfortable with negotiations.
  • Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus.
  • Tenacity.
