About The Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager based in La Spezia, Liguria. This is a rare opportunity to become a founding and important member of a growing, well‑funded company. You’ll collaborate with Italy’s most premium and top‑rated restaurants and focus on developing new relationships with restaurants and stores.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants across your region in an organised fashion, becoming an area‑level expert.
  • Support partners in joining Deliveroo, providing the best experience to them.
  • Communicate with restaurants via visits, email, calls or social media to demonstrate Deliveroo technology.
  • Help restaurant owners/managers overcome barriers or hesitations.
  • Attend restaurant and food meet‑ups.
Requirements
  • Comfortable targeting new business and have sales experience.
  • Confidence or experience dealing with partners/customers in face‑to‑face, phone or email.
  • Experience demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients.
  • Comfortable with negotiations.
  • Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus.
  • Tenacious and persistent.
