Brand Activation Specialist – Italy (Dueville, Hybrid, 12-Month FTC with permanent contract opportunity)

About Weber

Since 1952, Weber has stood for more than just grilling – we bring people together to create great memories and enjoy delicious food. Our vision and values guide us into the future and connect us with more and more members of the Weber family around the world.

The role

We are looking for a Brand Activation Specialist to join our Marketing team, based in Dueville (Vicenza). In this role, you will play a key part in bringing the Weber brand to life across the Italian market. You will translate strategic priorities into impactful, consumer‑facing activations that drive demand, grow brand equity, and strengthen Weber's position in Italy.

You will work closely with the Italian sales team and central EMEA marketing functions to deliver best‑in‑class execution of integrated campaigns, ensuring consistency of messaging while respecting market nuances. A key part of the role will be ensuring excellence in trade marketing activities, from go‑to‑market planning to coordinating agency partners and amplifying Weber's presence across all consumer touchpoints, including POS. If you are passionate about premium brands, regional marketing, and meaningful consumer experiences – and have a love for food and cookware – this role is perfect for you.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage trade marketing activities: compile annual catalogue and price list, order in-store displays, localise POS communication, activate retail promotions, and provide supporting materials for in-store and online execution.
  • Support Weber Stores activities, share E-POS data with retailers, and monitor online execution.
  • Create consumer‑facing leaflets and retailer newsletters, organise dealer training (in‑person), and support e‑learning translations and tracking.
  • Support the creation of merchandising items and ensure high‑quality in-store execution.
  • Collaborate with local agencies or work autonomously to build and execute the local social media editorial plan.
  • Translate and publish global assets to local social channels and manage community interactions to generate insights.
  • Build and maintain a PR database, translate EMEA press releases, distribute them to the media, and work with journalists to secure editorial coverage.
  • Organise press events and coordinate Weber's presence at consumer events and grilling experiences (BBQ courses, demos).
  • Support centrally planned media campaigns and monitor results.
  • Translate and proofread website content, create CRM opt‑in campaigns, and drive co‑marketing opportunities.
  • Track KPIs and report marketing performance to optimise future activities.
  • Monitor and manage the local marketing budget, ensuring accurate expense tracking and forecasting.
  • Coordinate internal meetings, including venue selection, hotel booking, and logistics.
What we're looking for
  • Degree in Communication, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, ideally within a premium or consumer lifestyle brand.
  • Hands‑on experience in brand activation, trade marketing, and campaign execution.
  • Experience working in matrixed organisations and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Understanding of omni‑channel brand experiences across retail and digital touchpoints.
  • Excellent communication skills in Italian and fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, CRM platforms, and project management tools.
  • Strong project management skills with an execution‑focused mindset and attention to detail.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
