Boat Designer for Innovative Electric Vessels

Belisama Yacht is an Italian innovative startup developing next-generation aluminum catamarans for sustainable operations, including plastic and oil recovery, multi-role workboats, and electric passenger transport.

We are looking for a Designer with a real background in mobility and vehicle design. The position can be part-time or internship, and remote collaboration is possible.

Mandatory Requirements

• Studying or holding a degree in Yacht Design, Naval Architecture, Industrial Design focused on transportation, or Automotive Design
• Ability to work with 2D and 3D modeling tools such as Rhino, Inventor, SolidWorks, Revit or similar
• Good level of English or Italian
• Portfolio demonstrating projects related to boats or vehicles
• Strong interest in innovative hull design, electric propulsion and sustainable marine technologies

Responsibilities

• Support the design of new aluminum vessels from concept to detailed 3D
• Create clean 2D and 3D models of hulls, structures and onboard systems
• Develop renders and visual material for presentations
• Contribute to modular construction R&D and integration of electric systems
• Collaborate with the engineering team on prototypes and technical documentation

Nice to Have

• Experience with naval architecture coursework or student projects
• Knowledge of aluminum structures or marine standards
• Experience in advanced rendering or animations
