GERAS project aims to create an innovative, non-invasive technological ecosystem for the prevention and monitoring of biological aging, which currently represents one of the crucial challenges for public health. The underlying idea of the project is to integrate smart hardware devices (smart rings, interactive mirrors, kiosks) with software platforms and modules based on advanced technologies (body tracking markerless, applied gaming) and Artificial Intelligence and Explainable Artificial Intelligence models. These models are able to collect motor, cognitive, behavioral, and environmental data in a non-invasive manner and with full respect for privacy, harmonizing them through data fusion techniques to yield biomarkers correlated with biological age and generate personalized recommendations to lead users through a process toward improvement and increased awareness of their own well-being
