Job summary

Fondazione IRCCS San Gerardo dei Tintori invites applicants for a 12-month Research Fellowship (Borsa di Ricerca) within the project “Artificial Intelligence-Enhanced Diagnosis of PBC-AIH Variant Syndrome (AIVAR).” This position focuses on analytics for integrating spatial omics with AI to enhance understanding of the PBC-AIH variant.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in a quantitative or life-science field and strong experience with Python and/or R.

What you'll work on:

• Analysis for a project integrating spatial omics with AI to improve understanding of PBC-AIH Variant

Who we're looking for:

• A Master's degree in a quantitative or life-science field, Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Bioinformatics, Biomedical/Computer Engineering, Biotechnology, Biology, Physics, Statistics, or Mathematics.

Strongly preferred:

• Experience with spatial omics platforms
• Multi-omic data integration, including AI/ML-based alignment approaches
• Proven analysis of high-dimensional omics data (RNA-seq, proteomics)
• Programming in Python and/or R

12 months (ending no later than 15/12/2027)
