BAKER

Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como’s Bakery Chef is in charge of managing the bakery productions ensuring that cleanliness, high quality and correct procedures are met at all times.

Duties & responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for the quality check of all food production in the section where employed and maintain the highest standards achievable
  • Check standard recipes ensuring proper portion control, uniformity of taste and quality
  • Ensure that all food items are of high standard and ready to serve on time
  • Carry out the kitchen requisitioning and ordering
  • Propose new services and products for our guests and initiate them when approved
  • Promptly communicate any operational problem to the Head Chef and Executive Chef
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the department head from time to time
  • Attend all training sessions arranged by the resort and company
Requirements:
  • At least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism or equivalent.
  • At least 1-year working experience in the related field
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP
