Our SynchroGuard solution is the first monitoring and automation system for electrical distribution grids. Based on the most advanced monitoring technology currently available, Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs), SynchroGuard provides instant visibility into distribution grids performance, helps integrate more renewables and EVs, and, thanks to unique fault location algorithms, reduces the impact of blackouts.

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Backend Software Developer to craft our platform and deliver to our customers high quality software code embracing modern software architectures (microservices, function as a service, event‑driven, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into well‑crafted code.
• Develop microservices to manage smart grid data.
• Integrate components to deliver a fully functional platform.
• Discuss fine‑grained design choices with the Architect.
• Document and maintain software functionalities.
• Apply test‑driven development and maintain unit and functional tests.
• Take part in team code reviews.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in delivering high quality software.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages (preference for Python).
• Knowledge of microservice event‑driven architectures.
• Mastery of Docker.
• Solid experience with git.
• Understanding of the power‑system domain (e.g., grid operations or electrical system modeling).
• Knowledge of GO.
• Familiarity with agile approaches.
• Experience with securing microservices.
• Understanding of front‑end development frameworks.
