Overview

Backend Developer at 2Hire

We are looking for a practical, bright, and trustworthy software engineer to join our team as we move from a monolith to microservices at scale.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale mobility services on a platform serving millions of users and thousands of vehicles
• Collaborate on features prioritization and configurable services to meet varying requirements
• Participate in design, planning, and implementation; take an active part in product improvement
• Contribute to code quality through testing, code reviews, linters, and automation

Requirements / What you bring

• Experience with TypeScript on NodeJS, MySQL, Redis; AWS and related services
• Familiarity with DynamoDB and infrastructure as code (CDK)
• DevOps practices, testing, and a culture of accountability and continuous learning
• Intermediate English proficiency; ability to communicate with international partners
• You don’t need prior experience with our stack, but you should be confident you’ll catch up and bring value
