Main Responsabilities and Duties Design, build, and maintain backend services using Spring / Spring Boot Develop and optimize RESTful APIs, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability Work with Hibernate / JPA for efficient and reliable data persistence Occasionally maintain or extend services built with Jersey (JAX-RS) Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams to deploy robust, production-ready systems Learn and progressively take ownership of AWS cloud deployments, CI / CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation

Requirements 1+ year of hands-on experience in backend development (preferably with Java & Spring Boot) Solid understanding of REST API design and implementation Practical experience with Hibernate / JPA and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) Familiarity with Jersey or other JAX-RS frameworks is a plus Knowledge of Git, Maven / Gradle, and modern build pipelines Interest in AWS, Docker, and DevOps automation tools (Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) Strong problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn

Nice to Have Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB) Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Basic Linux and networking knowledge Interest in observability and monitoring (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
