Job summary

Alpinestars is seeking a Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect and Data Engineer to design, implement and govern scalable cloud solutions and modern data platforms on Microsoft Azure. You will lead cloud integration architectures, optimize performance and cost, and ensure data quality, security and governance across on-premises and cloud environments.

The role requires hands-on Azure expertise, data warehousing and streaming pipelines, and collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure architecture and services.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Data Engineer.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, lakehouse, SQL and data modeling.
• Experience with batch and real-time data processing and integration patterns.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or SQL.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage cloud integration architectures with high availability, disaster recovery, performance, and cost optimization.
• Select and implement Azure services.
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Design and operate modern Azure data platforms (ADF/Synapse, Azure SQL).
• Build reliable batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance.
