NTT DATA Italia is seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to work on AWS Data Platform projects, collaborating with business analysts and solution architects to understand use cases, data needs, and outcome objectives. You will deliver data acquisition, transformations and loading of data into data lakes for analytics and ML models.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cloud environments (AWS preferred), strong Java/Scala/Python, Docker/Kubernetes, and IaC with CloudFormation.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud environments.
• Experience with Big Data architectures and on-premises/cloud.
• Strong Java/Scala/Python and shell scripting experience.
• Knowledge of security best practices (IAM, KMS, etc.).
• Experience migrating workloads to cloud and building CI/CD pipelines.

Mansioni

• Understand current application infrastructure and suggest changes.
• Define and document best practices for deployment and maintenance.
• Migrate infrastructure with zero downtime to a scalable one.
• Set up monitoring stacks with CloudWatch, Prometheus, and ELK.
• Define service capacity planning strategies.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS tools.
• Write infrastructure as code with CloudFormation or similar.
