NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking an AWS Data Architect to design and implement data pipelines on AWS, aligning with business analysts and solution architects to meet data objectives. You will bridge Data Science and Data Engineering, shaping scalable data platforms and performant data lakes.

You’ll lead architecture choices, guide tradeoffs in workshops, and mentor peers to uphold coding best practices, influencing cloud data strategies across client projects and scale.

As an AWS Data Architect at NTT DATA, you will design and implement data pipelines on AWS, aligning with business analysts and solution architects to meet data objectives. You bridge Data Science and Data Engineering, shaping scalable data platforms and performant data lakes. You’ll lead architecture choices, guide tradeoffs in workshops, and mentor peers to uphold coding best practices. This role offers impact across client projects and the chance to influence cloud data strategies at scale.

• Design and maintain data pipeline architectures on AWS using native services (Glue, Lambda) or data management tools (Talend, Informatica)
• Model and optimize data schemas on AWS data stores (Redshift, DynamoDB, RDS, S3)
• Architect operations and perform performance engineering for large-scale data lakes in production
• Lead client design workshops, providing recommendations and tradeoffs for solution options
• Mentor engineers in coding best practices and problem solving
• Cloud-native experience in GCP, AWS, or Azure; 5+ years on AWS preferred
• Experience with Big Data architectures and both cloud and on-premise contexts
• AWS infrastructure and networking experience
• AWS collection services: Kinesis, Kafka, DMS
• AWS storage services: S3, RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB
• POC delivery experience to address business needs
• On-premises to cloud migration experience
• Monitoring distributed infra with AWS tools or open-source tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK)
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, Python, and shell scripting
• Experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse
• AWS Certifications: Solutions Architect and/or Data Analytics
