Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Application Security Engineer to validate that our services and applications meet the highest security standards. You will analyze security, identify issues, and build automation while mentoring junior engineers.

You will participate in planning security work across teams, contribute as a security thought leader, and drive process improvements within AWS Security. This role emphasizes collaboration, learning, and scalable security solutions.

Competenze

• 3+ years of non-internship work across at least 5 security domains including application security, code reviews, incident response, cloud security or identity controls.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP) and common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).
• Experience scripting, programming, and security code reviewing in a common language.

• Conduct application security reviews (architecture, threat modeling, code reviews, security testing).
• Perform mobile security reviews and security testing across services.
