A leading aerospace engineering firm in Collegno is seeking an Avionics Rig Test Engineer. This full-time associate role involves designing wiring diagrams and interconnection schematics, working with AVIONICS components, and ensuring compliance with CE regulations. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with electrical design tools and a strong understanding of aerospace electrical interfaces.

Competenze

  • Development of wiring diagrams and interconnection schematics in avionics.
  • Electrical design of wiring harnesses in the avionics domain.
  • Definition of part lists and wiring lists with verification of data consistency.

Conoscenze

Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic materials and components
Knowledge of data transmission cables used in aerospace
Familiarity with aerospace connectors
Understanding of electrical/mechanical interfaces in aerospace
Knowledge of product configuration and BoM management
Knowledge of CE regulations for laboratory test benches
Ability to use IBM DOORS and SAP

This will make you grow:

  • Development and creation of wiring diagrams and interconnection schematics for the design of systems in the avionics field
  • Electrical design of wiring harnesses in the avionics domain using AUTOCAD Electrical or equivalent tools
  • Electrical Design of Test Assets: electrical design, possibly over multiple levels, to define the connections between avionics equipment and avionics components.
  • Definition of Part Lists and Wiring Lists: definition of lists related to end-to-end interconnections between the parts of the test asset, and verification of consistency with input data.

And this is how you'll take us forward:

  • Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic materials and components (relays, connectors, switches, toggle switches, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the main types of data transmission cables used in the aerospace sector (twisted and shielded multipolar, unipolar, coaxial, triaxial cables, etc.)
  • Familiarity with the main types of connectors used in the aerospace sector (D38999, ARINC600, etc.)
  • Understanding of the main electrical/mechanical interfaces used in the aerospace sector (MIL1553, ARINC429, RS422, ETHERNET, STANAG3350, etc.)
  • Knowledge of product configuration and bill of materials (BoM) management
  • Knowledge of CE regulations applicable to laboratory test benches
  • Familiarity and ability to use tools such as IBM DOORS and SAP
