Job summary

Amaris Consulting | Part of Mantu in Imperia is seeking an Avionics Cybersecurity Engineer to develop and implement cybersecurity for aircraft systems, avionics, embedded software and hardware.

You will conduct threat assessments, define requirements and work with cross-functional teams to ensure security across the product lifecycle. Fluent Italian and English are required, with at least four years in avionics cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering within avionics/aerospace environments.
• Experience with embedded software/hardware security, threat modelling and security architecture.
• Knowledge of aviation cybersecurity standards and certification processes.
• Fluent or native Italian and professional English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to communicate technical topics clearly with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cybersecurity solutions for aircraft systems and embedded software/hardware.
• Conduct threat assessments, risk analyses, reviews and vulnerability assessments on avionics products.
• Define cybersecurity requirements and ensure their implementation across the lifecycle.
• Design and review security architectures for embedded systems and aircraft.
• Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, safety, quality and certification teams.
• Support certification activities per DO-326A/DO-356A/DO-355.
• Prepare security plans, reports and compliance evidence.
• Provide technical guidance on embedded systems security and best practices.
