A technology consulting firm in Italy is seeking an architect specialized in Functional Safety to support automotive ECU projects. The role involves designing and implementing multi-core configurations while ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 standards. Candidates should have experience in AUTOSAR and strong leadership skills. Mansioni

• Define and maintain system and software architecture for automotive ECUs
• Evaluate ECUs with the goal of achieving ASIL certification
• Perform HARA and TARA activities
• Design, configure, and implement BSW stacks as per AUTOSAR standards
• Provide guidance on hardware configuration for platforms
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance
• Support integration and configuration of Vector tooling
• Communicate technical concepts and safety strategies

Conoscenze

Functional Safety expertise: ISO 26262, ASIL‑D, HARA, TARA

Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR (Classic) and BSW stack implementation

Hands-on experience with Vector tools and ECU configuration

Familiarity with hardware platforms: Aurix TC3XX, Traveo, and S32K

Ability to design and review technical safety concepts

Experience in multi-core ECU architecture and configuration

Strong communication and leadership skills
