Position Overview

Technical Support Specialist – Remote-based in Italy or in Germany. Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, you will operate in an international environment providing second‑level support by resolving customer problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting on Automation Platforms. You will drive service targets while ensuring strong customer satisfaction and retention. You will apply critical thinking to rapidly repair instrumentation, train customers and Service Engineers, support the Applications Team, and verify the operational performance and data quality of systems to supply the overall commercial organization.

You will operate independently in Italian/German territory and in Europe when needed, including overnight travel, to provide excellent customer service. You will install and maintain Automation instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand‑alone laboratory environments, while mentoring and learning from experienced technical support teammates.

Essential Requirements Of The Job
  • Biomedical engineer or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of Technical Support, Field Service experience with the diagnostics market.
  • Early careers are welcome but must have troubleshooting experience gained during thesis or internships.
  • Proficient English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
  • Ability to travel and provide service across the whole country, periodic travel to other European countries, and overnight travel. A current valid driver’s license is required.

  • Analytical mindset, able to analyze data, identify problems and find effective solutions.
