Springer Nature is seeking an Associate Publisher to manage a portfolio of proprietary and society open access journals under the npj brand, spanning a broad range from physics to clinical research. Reporting to an Executive Publisher, you will oversee strategic development and success within the Clinical Medicine field.

The role involves liaising with internal staff, external editors, and the scientific community, delivering growth and strong stakeholder partnerships in a hybrid model across

Mansioni

• Develop journals to deliver best-in-class author experience and engage societies, editors and EBMs.
• Grow a portfolio of open access journals using portfolio development and market intelligence.
• Manage partner society relationships, including negotiations and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Production, IT and other teams to resolve journal issues promptly.
• Monitor KPIs and take action to improve journal performance.
• Oversee Journal Development/ Improvement Plans and implement them successfully.
• Address pre- and post-publication issues with editors and readers.
• Attend external meetings to build relationships with EiCs, EBMs and partners.
• Represent the team in cross-functional projects with a market/portfolio perspective.
