Job Summary

For our Strategic Sourcing division we are looking for a Procurement Manager who will select, manage and coordinate suppliers to meet company goals in regards to quality, delivery and cost. He/She will also implement accurate process of evaluation of suppliers proposal and strategic competition approach.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a qualified mix of Best Cost Countries and Local/Regional supply base to support current and anticipated material requirements, both for New Products and existing Product Portfolio.
  • Support Sourcing activities related to the procurement of goods and/or materials as assigned including source selection and Price/Lead Time benchmarking/negotiation.
  • Interact across the company in New Product Development, Innovation to Value (I2V) and Price Productivity projects and meet the critical deadlines to support New Product launches along with committed cost target.
  • Support cost out opportunities by negotiating with current Supplier base and scouting source change opportunities, in line with Corporate goals and guidelines.
  • Work in conjunction with Category Teams and with key Plant Functions to secure a robust process‑driven and seamless introduction of new Suppliers and effective management of current ones.
  • Match the new parts to be purchased with best‑in‑class Supplier through item enrichment, Lead Time and Cost to support Production timelines and goals.
  • Engage negotiations with Suppliers to support Corporate goals in terms of Net Working Capital.
  • Support reporting activities on regular basis analysing Price differences for Purchased Parts.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned or required.
Basic Qualifications
  • BS/BA (or international equivalent) in a technical or business major.
  • 5–7 years of experience in a Buyer role preferred, preferably in Industrial sector.
  • Technical background preferred.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

  • Ability to create spreadsheets, charts and reports that contain relevant performance and projections data.
  • SAP knowledge preferred.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Approx. 20% of travel required.
