Role

Associate Director - Customer Partner – IT Services. We are seeking a dynamic individual who can revolutionize relationship management, drive account growth, and boost profitability. You will create, maintain and develop deep customer connections, building trusted relationships with top-level executives and delivering the full value of Kyndryl to our clients.

This role focuses on proactive account growth, minimizing erosion in renewals, and ensuring our largest accounts continue to flourish. You will develop and execute account strategies, identify and qualify new opportunities, and build relationships with key decision-makers to deliver tailor-made solutions that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage account P&L for strategic IT services accounts.
  • Drive revenue growth, renewals and profitability across offerings, including one of the following IT business areas: Cybersecurity & Resiliency, Data & AI, Cloud Services, Digital Workplace Services (DWS), Mainframe (ZSeries) & Cloud, or Network & Edge.
  • Develop and execute account strategies tailored to customer needs.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities, expanding scope and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to deliver seamless solutions.
  • Collaborate with other sales team members to ensure a seamless account management process, from prospecting through closing and beyond.
  • Lead one or more Portfolio or Strategic accounts and drive generation of new opportunities to expand existing work into larger scopes and new capabilities.
  • Build a strong go-to-market pipeline with partners to pursue new deals.
  • Apply external best practices to stay ahead of industry trends and provide innovative solutions that position Kyndryl as a market leader.
  • Own the account P&L and oversee customer satisfaction, ensuring client success and compliance with integrity standards.
Who You Are / Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in IT business services, including full account P&L ownership.
  • Proven success in consultative selling and strategic account growth.
  • Strong understanding of IT services components and industry trends.
  • Fluent in Italian and English (spoken).
  • Existing network within the IT services ecosystem is a strong advantage.
  • Proven experience with revenue growth, cost control, profitability, trends and risks.
  • Open-minded and empathetic approach in relationships with customers.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree.
  • Sales experience in technical solutions.
