A leading media company in Alghero, Italy, is seeking an experienced accountant to perform daily accounting duties and assist with financial reporting for the Asia region. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of accounting experience and a degree in Accountancy or a related discipline. Proficiency in MS Excel and fluency in English and Chinese are essential for this role.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Good command of both written & spoken English and Chinese.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently.

Mansioni

• Perform daily accounting duties including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare month-end closing and account reconciliation.

Specific Responsibilities

Perform daily accounting duties including account payable, account receivables, payment preparation, handling of petty cash, monitoring of cash collection from customers

Prepare month-end closing, including journal entry preparation, general ledger maintenance and account reconciliation

Assist entities in Asia the individual will be in charge of with the financial reporting and review the reporting package for the consolidation

Assist supervisor in preparing an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting of Asia region

Assist supervisor in providing required documents to auditors for year-end audit

Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting

High Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or related discipline

Self-motivated, detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skill

Strong sense of responsibility and can work under pressure and independently

Good command of both written & spoken English and Chinese

Proficiency in MS Excel to create, manipulate and format high volumes of data

Candidates with more experience will be considered as Accountant
