Descrizione del lavoro

LCF is an Italian investment platform and Independent Power Producer specialising in the acquisition, optimisation and long‑term management of renewable energy assets, with a primary focus on solar PV portfolios.

We invest across the full asset lifecycle — from development to construction and operational portfolios — creating value through consolidation, refinancing, operational optimisation, revamping and repowering.

Operating as a fully‑fledged IPP, LCF relies on in‑house capabilities across Technical (engineering, design, optimisation, revamping & repowering of brownfield assets and greenfield development), M&A (deal execution, value optimisation across all revenue streams) and Finance (direct and optimised financial, accounting and reporting control of all project companies) departments.

LCF's Technical Team leverages extensive in‑house engineering, technical due diligence, and asset management expertise to oversee the entire asset lifecycle. The team is responsible for technical due diligence, the revamping and repowering of existing assets, greenfield project development, construction management, and the ongoing operation, optimisation, and performance enhancement of renewable energy portfolios.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an Asset Manager to join our Technical Team.

The Asset Manager is responsible for optimising the technical and commercial performance of a portfolio of PV plants across the entire value chain, from energy production to electricity sales in the market.

We offer a flexible hybrid working model, combining in‑office and remote work. Trust, accountability, and collaboration are the foundation of our working environment. Success in this role will be assessed based on the results you deliver and on your ability to contribute to the wider team, sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and helping maintain and improve a collaborative culture.

This opportunity is aimed at medium to senior professionals with proven experience of at least three years in renewable energy asset management and a strong track record in the photovoltaic sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Asset Manager will be in charge of all the activities aimed at optimising the performance of assets within his/her portfolio.

  • Responsibility for the correct technical and commercial operation of the assets.
  • Management of preventive and predictive maintenance, proactively identifying and implementing measures to prevent failures and optimise the assets’ performance.
  • Management of corrective maintenance activities and incidents affecting the availability of the assets.
  • Management of claims involving insurance companies, contractors, suppliers or manufacturers.
  • Management of all operating contracts with insurance companies, O&M contractors, PPA counterparties, security service providers.
  • Monitoring and analysis of performance in cooperation with the team’s Data and Performance Analyst.
  • Budget and cost management, continuously identifying and implementing cost optimisation opportunities while supporting LCF teams and management in the budgeting process.
  • EH&S management: establishing and monitoring EH&S KPIs and implementing improvements to reduce on‑site EH&S risks.
  • Review of O&M reports, including monthly operational reviews for shareholders and weekly meetings with O&M contractors for fault log management.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • After the acquisition of new portfolios, perform all onboarding activities in cooperation with the Investment Team, ensuring the smooth transition of the assets into new O&M, security service and insurance contracts.
  • Plan and execute improvement activities for newly acquired assets, managing all phases of the implementation with support from the team’s Project Manager for the most impactful interventions.
  • Support Investment Team through acquisition process by providing technical inputs and performing technical reviews.
  • Support the management and the Investment and Development Teams in the technical and economic assessment of new initiatives.
