Responsibilities
  • You identify and acquire new customers, uncover and develop new business opportunities and convert them into profitable commercial success.
  • You manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals ensuring sustainable revenue growth, while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients; you manage your own portfolio.
  • Together with the sales team you define and execute market strategies for each of your assigned countries to increase revenue and market share.
  • You consult with your customers, proactively think along with them and translate their needs and requirements into tailored spot-on Value Propositions; you negotiate and close profitable deals with them with the support of the colleagues from the sales team.
  • You build and maintain lasting relationships with dealers, distributors and agents, working closely with them to expand your sales network.
  • You oversee contract execution and ensure follow-up in close cooperation with cross-functional teams.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events, acting as ambassador of the company.
  • You report directly to the Operations Manager of the Italian BU, providing insights on sales performance and market developments.
Profile

Hunter, International commercial talent

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial automation systems for fresh produce or food processing machinery.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Technology, Ag Tech, Horticulture, or related field - or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable affinity with technology or machine construction; knowledge of the fruit and vegetable sector is an asset.
  • Excellent MS Office skills; experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) would be great.
  • Fluent in Spanish and Italian. Professional command of English; other European languages are a plus.

  • Strong listening and communication skills, able to provide appropriate solutions in consultation with clients and colleagues.
