A global leader in manufacturing is seeking an Area Sales Manager in Italy, responsible for driving sales, building client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The candidate must have prior sales experience and excellent communication skills. We are seeking an Area Sales Manager, responsible for driving sales within a specific territory by keeping existent Customers portfolio, identifying leads, building client relationships, and checking business performance. This position combines sales and technical focuses through in-person meetings, presentations, internal sales support.
Degree in business, marketing, mechanical expert or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
Previous experience in a sales, customer service, or target-driven role is often essential. A track record of successfully meeting or exceeding sales quotas is highly valued.
Since the role involves frequent travel within a territory to meet with clients, a prohension to travel and valid driver's license is mandatory.
Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems are highly desirable.
Strong mix of both technical and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate product value, present to groups, and build rapport with clients.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts, prioritize leads, and efficiently plan travel within the assigned territory.
Fluent in Italian and good command of English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
A broad, varied in sales role with exposure to both local and international sales practices.
