Job summary

Fidia Farmaceutici S.P.A. is seeking an Area Manager Eye Care to lead a medical representatives team across Campania, Basilicata and Puglia, driving sales growth and market presence in Eye Care.

You will manage budgets, coach the sales force, conduct field visits, and track key performance indicators via CRM to ensure targets are met while complying with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree in scientific disciplines as per Legislative Decree 219/2006.
• At least 5 years’ experience as Medical Representative if no Area Manager experience.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Excellent knowledge of Office and CRM system.

Responsibilities

• Lead the medical representative team to drive sales growth in Eye Care across Campania, Basilicata and Puglia.
• Identify opportunities to expand district market presence and manage district budgets and resources.

Job Description With the aim of strengthening the coordination activities of the medical representatives' network, we are recruiting an Area Manager Eye Care who will ensure the achievement of sales goals for Eye Care in the areas of Campania, Basilicata and Puglia by managing a team of medical representatives.

Main responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and market share within the district by effectively managing the medical representative team.
• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand the district's market presence.
• Oversee district budgets, control promotional expenses, and ensure optimal resource allocation for maximum ROI.
• Conduct regular field visits, performance reviews, and coaching sessions to support and guide the sales team.
• Track daily KPIs via CRM and ensure consistent performance and target achievement across the team.
• Provide regular feedback and assess development needs for each team member.
• Provide regular updates on sales results, market dynamics, competitor activities, and team performance to senior management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, HCPs, and other critical district stakeholders.
• Ensure all district operations align with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Degree, preferably in scientific disciplines according to the Legislative Decree 219 of 2006 and later amendments.
• Prior experience in the role of Area Manager will be considered a plus.
• Candidates without experience in people management will also be considered if they have at least 5 years' experience as a Medical Representative.
• Previous experience within the ophthalmology sector is considered a strong advantage.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
• Excellent knowledge of the Office package and knowledge of CRM system.
• Result-oriented, with strong analytical skills and coaching skills.

Our offer

Open ended contract. "A" grading of chemical pharmaceutical national collective agreement. Salary between € 56.800 and € 71.000 and, in addition, a net annual per diem allowance equal to approximately 10% of the salary will be paid (based on field assignments). Sales Incentive Plan.
