Area Manager 2026 – New England (Recent and Upcoming Graduates)

This full‑time, entry‑level position is located in one of Amazon’s fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations or other operations buildings in New England. The role is not remote or office‑based. As an Area Manager, you will engage, lead and develop a team of hourly employees in a fast‑paced warehouse environment, motivating, mentoring, and managing to meet goals while ensuring safety, quality, attendance and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support, mentor, and motivate 50–100 direct‑report associates.
  • Work independently in an autonomous environment.
  • Stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
  • Work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays (typical 4‑day work week with 3 days off).
  • Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment (where applicable) and step in as needed.
  • Operate in an environment with variable noise levels.
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and perform frequent push, pull, squat, bend and reach tasks.
  • Climb and descend stairs (when applicable).

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, all requirements completed between May 2024 and August 2026 (degree requirements must be met before first day).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Currently enrolled in or graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related field.

The base pay for this position ranges from $63,600 to $82,700 per year, depending on market location. Additional compensation may include equity, sign‑on payments, and other benefits.
