Overview

Slowear is seeking a passionate, dynamic, and results-oriented Area Manager Wholesale to join our Wholesale Department based in Milan. This is a fixed-term position to cover a maternity leave.

Area Manager will be responsible for overseeing and expanding Slowear’s wholesale business across Europe, nurturing strong client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring a consistent and impactful brand representation throughout all wholesale channels.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow existing wholesale customers across Europe through a relationship-driven approach.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with customers in the assigned territory, ensuring brand alignment and proper product presentation across all wholesale points of sale.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, establishing productive relationships with potential clients and strategic partners.
  • Analyze market potential and evaluate the value of existing and prospective customers to the organization.
  • Create and manage customer value plans, highlighting profiles, market share, and growth opportunities.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business, Fashion, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in wholesale sales or area management within the fashion industry.
  • Strong understanding of wholesale markets (a significant plus).
  • Fluency in English.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
  • Willingness to travel
