We are looking for an Apprentice for Electrification & Automation, in Milan within the Electrification and Automation Business Unit area who will be trained in 2 years as Electrical Protection Engineer.

During the apprenticeship you will receive comprehensive and state-of-the-art training to develop your personal and professional skills and you will have the support of a mentor to achieve your career steps.

Your Challenge

Some of your main activities will be:

• Design and develop technical applications for protection, control, and measurement devices


• Execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) both in Italy and abroad


• Develop testing tools and procedures to ensure system reliability and performance


• Gain expertise in Siemens Electrification & Automation product portfolio (protection, control, measurement)


• Support the technical development and configuration of protection systems for HV / MV applications


• Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing activities


• Establish yourself as a technical and theoretical reference point within the team for electrical protection systems


• Become the national reference for Siemens' Protection Portfolio


• Acquire the skills to independently manage protection and automation projects

Required entry qualifications

• You have less than 30 years of age, in accordance with the Italian apprenticeship contract


• You are fresh graduate or you have a technical academical background


• ITS Degree;


• Proficiency in English and Italian


• Team player ability, strong communication & interpersonal skills;


• Ability to work in a changing environment


• Passion to never-stop growing


• Respect and appreciation of each person's uniqueness, willingness to co create and share knowledge


• Eligibility to work in Italy
