Application Engineer - Tapes and Labels (d/f/m)

What you’ll do
  • Provide expert technical guidance to clients, understanding their needs and recommending solutions.
  • Support clients with lab‑based and customer‑facing projects, including performance validation, data generation, and designing test methods for new applications. This includes up to 40% of travel within Europe.
  • Conduct thorough product testing and evaluations, ensuring that solutions meet quality standards and client specifications.
  • Work with cross‑functional colleagues in sales, product development, marketing, and other areas to solve technical issues for our clients.
  • Inform our clients on the performance capabilities of Henkel’s products and services via technical help, reports, and presentations.
  • Provide expert training programs to our sales partners and clients to ensure new products and applications are selected and used whenever appropriate.
  • Establish and leverage external networks and partnerships with OEM and represent Henkel on trade shows and industry trade associations.
What makes you a good fit
  • Master’s degree in Chemistry or Engineering.
  • Experience within the pressure‑sensitive adhesives industry.
  • Strong technical expertise and problem‑solving skills in the adhesives industry for key applications such as PSA tapes, labels, and graphics.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and project management skills.
  • Fluent in digital collaborative tools such as OneNote and O365.
  • Fluent English and German skills; French is a plus.
