Scrambly is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to build and run the data platform behind the commercial side of Scrambly — the pipelines and models that sit underneath how we spend, how we reward, and how we protect the ecosystem. These are decisions worth real money, made daily, on numbers you produce.

This is an early hire on a data team being built from scratch. You will work day to day with the Head of Data, alongside Data Scientists as they join, and in close partnership with Backend, User

Competenze

• 3+ years in analytics engineering or data engineering, with production pipelines.
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills, including layered warehouse design.
• Analytical judgement: turn commercial questions into measurable answers and recommendations.
• GCP experience (BigQuery, Dataform, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, IAM) preferred.
• Python for data work and code review mindset.
• Curiosity and ability to work with unfamiliar systems.
• Proactive, self-directed, small team environment.
• English at B2+, written and spoken.

Mansioni

• Build and maintain analytical pipelines in Dataform on BigQuery, from source data to trusted tables.
• Analyze and recommend answers to commercial questions; set thresholds for day-to-day decisions.
• Take ownership of existing pipelines and keep them running in production.
• Make data trustworthy by building tests, assertions, and alerts on models driving commercial decisions.
• Raise engineering standards: manage warehouse costs, improve performance, and promote best practices.
• Collaborate with Head of Data, Data Scientists, Backend, UA, and Account Management.
