Job summary

Chematek SpA is seeking a capable laboratory professional to join our analytical and product development team at our headquarters near Milan. Qualifications

• Diploma as Perito Chimico or degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related discipline with practical laboratory experience.
• Working knowledge of analytical techniques such as GC, HPLC and UV-Vis (or comparable methods), laboratory QC, sampling and documentation.
• Experience in formulation or working with solvents, hydrocarbons, dyes, markers, fuel additives or petrochemical products would be advantageous.
• A disciplined approach to routine testing, alongside the ability to interpret unexpected results and improve analytical methods or formulations.
• Clear communication skills, good Excel and reporting capability, and a good working command of English.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine chemical, physical and instrumental analyses of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.
• Support formulation development and optimisation for marker, solvent dyes and related refinery chemicals.
• Interpret analytical findings and communicate conclusions to support product and customer decisions.
• Participate in international refinery field assignments and collaboration with commercial teams.
