Prometeia seeks a data-minded Analyst for the Pricing Unit and Financial Innovation in Bologna. You will work with Italy and abroad colleagues to design, test and enhance financial models, draft requirements, and manage projects.

The role requires a PhD or post-graduate with strong mathematical/finance background and proficiency in Python, plus excellent English. Travel is possible and the environment emphasizes training and total compensation.

• Post-graduate or PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Finance or Financial Engineering.
• Thorough knowledge of at least one programming language is required: Python or similar.
• Fluency in English (C1 level). Knowledge of a second European language is an advantage.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The resource will independently follow, collaborating with Competence Line and/or Business Line managers both in Italy and abroad, the following operational tasks:

• Functional analysis, development and testing of financial models
• Drafting of evaluation reports or business requirements
• Project management activities

BACKGROUND AND JOB SKILLS:

• Post-graduate or Phd with excellent grades in Mathematics, Physics, Finance or Financial Engineering
• Thorough knowledge of at least one programming language is required: Phython or similar.
• Fluency in English (C1 level). The knowledge of a second European language is an advantage
• The knowledge of \"quantitative finance\" issues applied to risk management, asset allocation and corporate finance will be considered a plus
