Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Functional Analyst to join our team in Rome. As a Functional Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the successful implementation of advanced software systems.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Gathering and analyzing business requirements from stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
• Developing and maintaining functional specifications, process models, and other documentation to support system design and development.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
• Conducting data analysis and interpreting results to support decision-making processes.
• Facilitating workshops and meetings to gather requirements and resolve conflicts.
• Creating and maintaining project artifacts, including use cases, user stories, and process flows.
• Performing gap analysis between current and desired business processes.
• Supporting testing activities by creating test plans and executing test cases.
• Providing training and support to end-users during system implementation.
• Monitoring and reporting project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

Qualifications include a degree in technical (engineering, computer science) or economic disciplines, or equivalent work experience. Candidates should have at least 3+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst or similar role, with strong skills in process modeling, requirements gathering, and data analysis. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Monday), UML, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint), and familiarity with Agile methodologies are required. Certifications such as CBAP or CCBA are preferred. Knowledge of industry-specific processes and regulations, and fluency in Italian, are also necessary.

Additional Information

Presence in the Rome office is required three days a week.
