EssilorLuxottica in Agordo is seeking an AME Hardware Equipment & Fixture Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team. The role will support the development, installation, optimization and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, automation systems, fixtures and tooling for our products.

You will work with Production, Process Engineering, Quality and Maintenance to troubleshoot issues and drive improvements for stability, quality and productivity in a hands-on environment.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in equipment engineering or similar roles.
• Hands-on experience with automated assembly equipment and related processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and drive improvements for stability, quality and productivity.

Mansioni

• Support selection, installation, commissioning and buy-off of manufacturing equipment, automation systems, fixtures and tooling.
• Evaluate equipment capability and performance against requirements, identifying improvement actions.
• Support and optimize advanced assembly equipment and processes (glue dispensing, pressing, laser welding, soldering, ultrasonic welding).
• Analyze equipment failures and define corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Develop, improve and maintain production fixtures and tooling, with documentation and process parameters.
• Coordinate suppliers for customized equipment and fixture development and cost improvements.
