Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. seeks an experienced Dedicated Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, operate and scale massive distributed systems in AWS. You will work on platform diagnosis, response, measurement, and automation, with security clearances required for government work.

Expect collaboration with a fast-moving, highly technical team in a secure environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year in networking/troubleshooting, 1+ year systems

A successful ADCE Engineer does much more than plug computers together and track changes. They are instrumental in deploying, operating, and scaling a massive always-on distributed system that is core to all of AWS. We are looking for a experienced and motivated engineer to join our fast-moving and passionate team. This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.

Basic Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma, or A+ or CND (Certified Network Defender) or Network+ or Security+
• 1+ years of networking and troubleshooting experience
• 1+ years of systems administration (Linux/Windows) experience
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above

Preferred Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma, or certification in an applicable field like A+, Net+, Sec+, CCNA, LPIC, Linux+, AWS certification
• 3+ years of networking and troubleshooting experience
• 3+ years of systems administration (Linux/Windows) experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
