AI & Data Science Engineer

DXC Technology is looking for a Data Scientist to support AI and Generative AI projects, contributing to practical solutions and improving business processes through machine learning models, natural language processing, and intelligent automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of AI solutions, including machine learning models, NLP, and computer vision applications.
• Collaborate with senior team members to understand client requirements and translate them into practical AI solutions.
• Assist in presales activities, including preparing technical materials and contributing to client presentations.
• Stay up-to-date on AI trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to support solution development.
• Participate in small-scale AI solution projects or tasks, gaining hands‑on experience in real client environments.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in Generative AI projects.
• Good knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical AI solutions, including design and implementation.

Nice to Have

• Experience with agentic AI approaches or platforms.
• Previous involvement in presales or solution support tasks.

Location

Rome (RM) with remote work possibility.
