Job summary

TXT e-Tech, part of the TXT Group, is seeking a Software Test Engineer for its Aerospace & Aviation division in Italy. You will join the Ground Station Team to validate software solutions for aerospace applications, working with testers, developers, and project engineers.

The role emphasizes designing tests, executing functional, integration, and performance tests, and ensuring compliance with DO-178 and project standards while documenting results and improving quality.

Qualifications

Technical or scientific diploma or degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
Interest in software testing and software quality assurance activities.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret software requirements, ensuring their completeness, consistency, and correct implementation.
Design and execute functional, integration, and performance tests to validate system behavior.
Define and verify operational requirements and GUI within dedicated test scenarios.
Identify, track, and monitor software anomalies and defects, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution.
Create and maintain technical and testing documentation, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
Perform software verification and validation activities, ensuring compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
