Youman, on behalf of a leading client in the Aerospace & Defence sector, is seeking a Quality Engineer for a two-year UK assignment, with relocation back to Rome, Italy. The role focuses on ensuring product and project quality in line with internal processes, standards and contractual requirements.

You will work with the Project Manager, customers and suppliers across the full lifecycle—from bid and design to manufacturing and final delivery—supporting the QMS and audits as needed.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years in quality, manufacturing, design or engineering.
• Experience with ISO 9001/AS9100/EMAR is advantageous.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Mansioni

• Contribute to defining and implementing quality processes.
• Perform and support design reviews to meet requirements.
• Manage configuration management across the product lifecycle.
• Ensure handling of non-conformities per standards and customer needs.
• Prepare QA documentation and participate in formal reviews.
• Support audits, supplier qualification and QMS activities.
• Interface with customers and suppliers on QA topics.
• Contribute to bids from a Quality/QA perspective.
