Job summary

Piaggio Aerospace invites an undergraduate or recent graduate to join our Production Planning team as a Production Planner Intern. You will support coordination and optimization of manufacturing activities within a highly regulated aerospace environment.

You will work with Planning, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality, contributing to production planning, materials management and KPI monitoring while gaining hands-on experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and planning processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong interest in production planning, supply chain management, and manufacturing operations.
• Good analytical skills and aptitude for data and KPIs.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) and planning tools is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning principles.
• Knowledge of aerospace, industrial, or quality management standards is an advantage.
• Native Italian speaker and Fluent English (excellent written and spoken skills).
• Strong willingness to learn and develop within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of production plans based on customer demand and business requirements.
• Assist in MRP activities to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
• Contribute to capacity planning analyses and identify bottlenecks and workload imbalances.
• Collaborate with Planning, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality to monitor production progress and delivery schedules.
• Support inventory management activities and analysis of stock levels and material availability.
• Assist in preparing planning reports and monitoring KPIs (OTD and production metrics).
• Contribute to continuous improvements to increase planning efficiency and optimize workflows.
