Job summary

OG1201 Aero Service Technologies Italy S.r.l. is seeking a Process Quality Engineer to lead quality assurance for gas turbine engine repairs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.

You will develop and implement QC processes, oversee testing phases, and drive continuous improvement using 5S, 8D and RCA methodologies. This on-site role requires collaboration with internal and external testing benches and fluent English/Italian communication.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken).
• Demonstrated collaboration and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficient with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Quality control: Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality control processes for gas turbine engine repairs, ensuring compliance with standards and customer specs.
• Testing Oversight: Lead quality oversight of testing activities, ensuring rigor during final testing post-repair.
• Act as the primary contact for internal and external testing benches, ensuring protocols are followed and results meet quality benchmarks.
• Customer Quality Management: Interface with customers regarding quality performance.
• Manage responses to escapes and NCRs, ensuring timely resolution and proactive communication.
• Monitor key quality KPIs and customer satisfaction; implement improvement plans.
• Develop process improvement plans using 5S, 8D, engineering studies, Gauge R&R.
• Lead investigations into quality issues and customer complaints via RCA methodologies; drive CAPAs.
• Ensure process efficiency through validation plans and flow diagrams showing inputs/outputs and risks.
