Job Overview

Join to apply for the Aero Repair Project Manager role at Baker Hughes.

The Baker Hughes Aero Repair Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving our Aero strategic plans and ensuring their successful execution. The main goal will be to grow and improve BH Aero repair network capacity and capability within the multi‑year growth plan for the LM2500, LM6000 and LM9000 families. The role involves collaborating closely with various teams across the organization, including Aero Partners, to align efforts and drive strategic initiatives forward.

Responsibilities
  • Managing existing plans to reach targets on increase capacity and capability of selected BH repair facilities.
  • Coordinate unplanned repair strategy and action plan for the LM9000 program, focusing on repair TAT and relation with the planned maintenance approach.
  • Understanding drivers and implications on the overall GTS Aero strategy while working closely with the governance team.
  • Interfacing with functional experts across the organization(s) to lead and coordinate specific actions of the plan.
  • Reporting results to GTS leadership forum.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to facilitate collaboration and drive results.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Aeronautical/mechanical degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of experience in Manufacturing/Service).
  • Aeroderivative Gas Turbines technology knowledge.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and influence cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines (PMI or IPMA certification is a plus).
  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Able to develop and manage Success Metrics.
  • Achievement of strategic goals and objectives within specified timelines.
  • Positive feedback from internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Successful implementation of key strategic initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Product/Machine configuration and the relevant development and management processes.
