A leading medical institution in Italy, Toscana is seeking a Cardiothoracic APP to assist in direct patient care and case management. Candidates should have experience with vein harvesting and relevant licensure. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, providing direct care, and assisting in surgery. Cardiothoracic APP: The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work with physicians and team management to assist in direct patient care, case management, practice development, and implementation of policies and procedures focused on patient‑centered care models and to increase the continuity of care of all cardiothoracic patients. Experience with vein harvesting is required.
Hours per week: 40. Scheduled work hours/shift: Must be able to work inpatient and outpatient, including nights and weekends. Pay basis/FLSA: Salaried/Exempt.
PA or ACNP with RNFA who graduated with a surgical fellowship.
PA or ACNP with RNFA who graduated from a surgical fellowship and has two years’ surgical experience.
Continuous requirements to perform job functions while standing, walking, and sitting. Ability to bend at waist, kneel, climb stairs, reach, use both hands and legs with good dexterity. Perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders. Reach in all directions. Qualify for respirator use. Vision: 20/40 corrected. Work in latex‑safe environment indoors. Frequently lift, lower, push, pull, carry objects weighing 50 lbs unassisted. Lift from 36″ to overhead 25 lbs. Work in dusty areas and confined spaces.
