Medical University of South Carolina seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide direct patient care in acute settings, emphasizing the nursing process and outcome-driven care.

The role requires leadership of care teams, collaboration with multidisciplinary staff, and a commitment to patient-centered practices while adhering to MUSC standards and regulatory requirements. SC RN license, BLS and ACLS are required.

Competenze

• Previous acute care clinical experience required.
• Critical Care or ED experience required.
• Must be able to work under stress.
• Must have active South Carolina RN license.
• Must be BLS and ACLS certified.

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Direct and lead assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide age-appropriate care.
• Provide patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, religious, and environmental needs.
• Maintain patient privacy and a respectful, professional environment.
• Participate in shared governance and professional development to promote leadership and clinical excellence.
