Boston Scientific is seeking a talented Finance Intern to join our team in Milan, working in a hybrid mode. You will learn and contribute to internal and external financial processes, reporting to the Finance Sponsorship Specialist and gaining mentorship.

You’ll assist with data collection and analysis for sponsorship invoices, support month-end close tasks, and help prepare financial reports. This role offers an international environment and growth opportunities within a leading medical

Competenze

• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis.
• English proficiency at B2+ level.

Mansioni

• Support in collecting, compiling, and analyzing data for sponsorship invoices.
• Collaborate with the Business Support Team to ensure data accuracy.

About The Role

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Finance Intern to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow while supporting both internal and external financial processes. You will report directly to the Finance Sponsorship Specialist, gaining valuable insights and mentorship along the way.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Assist in collecting, compiling, and analyzing data to maintain accurate and timely records for sponsorship invoices, ensuring alignment with supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with the Business Support Team to gather data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Review and analyze data received from Business Units and other teams (e.g., Global Business Services).
• Ensure accuracy of various areas while performing month-end close including General ledger, accruals, VAT, Fixed Asset, Operating expense
• Provide support to accounting team members with day-to-day financial tasks and activities.
• Help prepare reports by gathering and analyzing information.
• Support to SOX program
• Ensure compliance with internal finance policies and procedures.
• Assist in preparing and organizing documentation required for audits.
• Participate in identifying opportunities for process improvements and standardization across multiple legal entities.
• Contribute to creating monthly and ad hoc financial reports.
• Work effectively with diverse teams to support the achievement of organizational goals.

What Are We Looking For In You

• Graduated or studying a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration or related field
• Fluency in English (B2+ level)
• Goods skills in Excel
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus
• Eager to learn new tasks and to work in a stimulating multinational environment
