Finance & Accounting Officer – Project Development

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
- Record journal entries and ensure proper documentation for auditing purposes.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts on a regular basis.
- Join a project team to complete 2024 accounts for AJB.
General Ledger Management
- Post and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual ledger accounts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly.
Financial Report & Budgeting
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile figures accurately and appropriately.
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Accurately record accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile accounts receivable and issue invoices, follow up on received and spent money.
Cash Flow & Treasury
- Monitor daily cash balances and cash flow projections.
- Support banking transactions, reconciliations, and treasury activities.
- Ensure optimal utilization of funds to support business operations.
Coordination
- Coordinate with SBI account to ensure cross-unit invoicing is carried out and posted to standard.
- Ensure consistency of cross-unit postings.
- Coordinate with SBI Resort Operations Manager to prepare a weekly list of payments.
- Send weekly list of payments to AJB and JJA for Director approval.
- Coordinate with AJB and JJA Directors to finalize monthly statements.
Process Improvement & Systems
- Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in accounting processes.
- Support the implementation of new accounting systems or digital tools.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Already reside in Bali (a must); Local / Indonesian citizenship (a must).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant for 2-3 years, with solid knowledge of accounting principles.
- Strong skills in MS Office especially Excel, and other accounting-related software.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Professional certification (e.g., Brevet A & B) is an advantage.
- Able to join immediately.
